Hey- I am not sure if you read my post on my blog in answer to your question, so I thought I would write it on yours as well. The board shorts are knee length. yes, I am the same way as you are with the whole not comfortable with my flabby legs. It is actually a men's suit but only has the mesh sewed in at the waist so I am just going to cut it out. I really wanted knee length and this was the only way to go. For $14 it was too good of a deal. I looked EVERYWHERE for knee length women's board shorts and they are no where to be found, so when this one at Dick's matched my suit I couldn't pass them up and wanted shorts more than a med length skirt.
